Leadership and Brand Workshops
Building Your Leadership Brand
As a leader, you need to connect with your team and those you want to influence. When we are leading others we need to get the buy-in and effort of other people to enact our vision. Our ability to communicate with passion and articulate concisely our message is instrumental to success.
In this course we will uncover your values, build your communication skills and uncover your unique vision of the world and how you wish to lead others. We will focus on who you are, your history, your stories, your skill sets, your great successes and your great failures. We will look at you as a product and explore what you offer the market place: both your attributes and your drags. We will look at how you market your brand, who needs to know about your team and your work. What the role of networking is when building strong brands and finally how you can support yourself through your career to continue to grow and evolve into the most authentic, impactful leader you can be.
Finding Your Leader’s Voice
Authentic communication is key to leading others. Speaking from your values. Being able to articulate the qualities and values that you believe in will help you define your leadership. In this workshop we will explore your cornerstones: the key foundations that form your beliefs, and how these cornerstones play out in the way you lead. There will be a focus on how to create meaningful town halls, building presentations when representing your company to outside industry and other high-level communication situations that leaders face.
Storytelling in Leadership
Leaders need to inspire others . Being able to use stories to emotionally connect with your listeners and make a message “sticky” is part of the leader’s toolbox. Having your words, body and voice all sending a congruent message leads to impact. Painting pictures, using metaphors, connecting your story to the listeners needs and aspirations all are part of leadership storytelling. In this course we will look how to use stories to make your message compelling and inspire your team to take action.
Boardroom Presence: Women in Leadership
Past research suggests that women (and other minority groups) have historically struggled to make it into the highest levels of boardrooms due to a lack of gravitas and “executive Presence”.
In this workshop, we will explore communication preferences, pinpoint the participants individual strengths and challenges and develop strategies to underscore personal impact.
